The American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association (ACPA) is a 54-year-old nonprofit, multi-disciplinary association which, until recently, was located in Pittsburgh, PA, its home since 1972. In addition, the Cleft Palate Foundation, the public service division operating from the same National Office as its parent ACPA, can be reached by parents and affected individuals 24 hours a day through the Cleftline: 1-800-242-5338. An average of 700 calls per month ring through the Cleftline, answered with the promise of information in the form of educational pamphlets, factsheets, and referrals to health care teams.
