Division 5 has undergone many changes over the past year, a new coordinator and three new Steering Committee members. My congratulations to the newly elected members Christine Sapienza, Tom Guyette and Sam Brown. My sincere thanks to Andy Leeper, Linda D’Antonio, and Karl Moller, who have completed their terms and who have provided so much to this division. I hope to persuade each of them to remain active in some of the import activities that they have started. Special thanks to Andy for his years as Associate Coordinator and Editor, to Linda for her efforts as Editor this year. Special thanks also to Karl for his efforts to help solicit outside funding for our education efforts and for initiating cooperative efforts between Division 5 and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. The divisions could not operate without ASHA staff. Each of the ASHA staff and the vice-presidents that work with the divisions have been important to our success, but Michelle Ferketic has been indispensable as I have learned the system.
